The College of Economics

The College of Economics has 7 majors for undergraduates, including Economics, Trade, International Trade and Economy, Finance, Insurance, Public Finance and Statistics, and 4 majors for Master’s Degree including Industrial Economics, Western Economics, Specialized History (Economic History) and Statistics. The current majors range from the first-class economic course to all the second-class courses, among which the Trade Economics belongs to the Ministerial primary disciplines and the Industrial Economics is of Beijing Municipal primary disciplines. The college has gained great advantages and features in the research fields of future market, statistical analysis, and economic history, insurance and so on. It has over 200 master’s degree’s candidates. There is a faculty of more than 70, among and which 20 are full professors, 30 are associate professors, 12 have doctor’s degree and 34 have Master’s Degree. The college possesses many famous experts such as Prof. Liang Xiaomin, as well as a group of vigorous and energetic young scholars. It attaches great important to the scientific research. So far more than 700 essays has been published and 70 academic works have come out in recent years.
